Packaging
Use of ultra modern HDPE (high density-polyethylene) plastic made from petroleum is used to pack material in both Coil form & bundle form to protect material from all weather, dust & wind during logistic & transportation transit, & also from loading & unloading of goods, with use of metal/velcro strapping & wooden palletizing. Packaging is an essential element service of any SSC today.
Warehousing
Both Indoor & outdoor warehousing activities are carried out in SPPL, where indoor warehousing capacity facilitates EOT cranes handling goods from 10 m.t. To 50 m.t. Irrespective of width & length of the material. Warehousing ideally is carried for HR, CR & Tin related material bundles, pickled plates etc. Where as outdoor/open warehousing is ideally done for extra heavy long plates, beams, structures, TMT bars & bundles & HRC. Outdoor warehousing department of SSPL carries strength to warehouse up to 50,000 m.t. At a time.
Incorporated in the year 1995, SPPL (Shearline Process Pvt Ltd) started its operations with processing of tin related products & warehousing. Mild steel products such as tin-plates, tin-free, black plates processing & its warehousing is the very first operations carried on during the company laid its foundation.
